Fruit Ninja Free Hits Android
There are hoards of game apps out there for Android and iPhone users. Many of the game apps are crap games that no one really wants to play. If you want a new game that is a lot of fun and you can get for free, you need to hit the Android Market right now and get Fruit Ninja Free. This is the free version of the popular game.
The description is the same as the paid version that goes for $1.19. It makes me think that the game is the same exact thing as the old paid version. You get to slash up fruit with a bunch of different blades you can unlock as the game goes by.
The game has three single player modes with Classic, Zen, and Arcade modes. The arcade mode even has the power up bananas you can slash in half. Grab the game right now and let us know if there is a difference between this and the paid version.

Google Working On Chrome For OS X Lion
bably have found out that Google’s Chrome browser doesn’t run as well on Lion as it did on Snow Leopard.
Google is working on a new version of their Chrome browser for OS X lion, and Google’s SVP of Chrome, Sundar Pichai, has been taking to the guys over at Tech Crunch, about the companies plans for Chrome on Lion.
The scrollbar should get fixed in canary tomorrow if not tonight. Will disappear till you start scrolling. Fullscreen needs more work and we will add it to the list and get it fixed but will take some more time. In general, we care abt a great native experience on every platform and so the team is pushing hard to get a great stable version for Lion.
Google’s Chrome already has a full screen interface, although it doesn’t work in the same way as Safari does on Lion, so Google are going to implement a proper full screen interface for Chrome on Lion.
There are no details as yet on when the optimized version of Google Chrome will be available for OS X Lion.
Microsoft: New Xbox Is Old Xbox With New Services
Despite what you might have heard, the new Xbox is probably not going to be at E3 2012 except maybe in announcement form only, but that apparently doesn’t stop people from speculating and asking about it. And when you run one of Microsoft’s better known first party studios, like the one responsible for the Xbox avatars and Kinect Sports, you probably tend to get asked about it a lot.
“The power of software, the power of services, and the power of platforms is that it’s always now. We continue to build on them, continue to innovate, continue to push, and we continue to build magic,” Rare chief Scott Henson said, speaking at the Develop conference in Brighton.
But while not offering a lot of information about the now, there’s nothing stopping him from engaging in a bit of armchair futurism. “I’m not going to give you the exact date you’re going to have a holodeck in your room, but think about that for just a second,” he said. ”Think about the movies we all grew up on and the things that inspired us in lots of different ways to create the kind of entertainment to do. We’re down that path. We’re absolutely down that path right now.” I’ll say, I mean who ever imagined being able to see the bottom of an avatar’s shoe just a few short years ago?
Google+ Close To 20 Million Users
Google’s social networking service, Google+ has been incredibly popular since it launched just over two weeks ago, and according to Paul Allen, the founder of Ancestry.com, who has been researching how many users Google+ has, Google+ is getting close to 20 million members.
Just last Friday, Google officially confirmed that Google+ had reached 10 million users, and according to Paul Allen, Google+ will hit 20 million users by the end of this week.
According to the recent report Google+ was close to 18 million users on Monday, after 750,000 new users signed up on Monday, and if this rate continues it could mean that Google will be well over the 20 million users by the end of the week.
These are pretty impressive figures for a new social networking service, and it looks like Google+ may already be more popular than some of Google’s previous efforts.
It will be interesting to see how fast Google+ grows over the next few months, and whether Google will be able to develop Google+ into a real competitor for the worlds largest social networking site, Facebook.

Mortal Kombat Getting Freddy Krueger DLC
We’re definitely not contesting the awesomeness of including the Nightmare on Elm Street character, it’s just the randomness we have something against. Yeah, he may have those badass scars and metal claws and whatnot, but what exactly is the connection, justification or indeed even rationale for having him in Mortal Kombat in the first place?
Let’s be honest, though, Warner Bros. don’t pay you to think these things through. In fact, they don’t pay you at all. You actually pay them, to the tune of 400 Microsoft Points ($4.99) for this slightly arbitrary, but no less awesome piece of DLC. But since they’re opening the floodgates, why not stick Ned Stark and Doctor Who in there as well, just to make it interesting.
Steam Keys Can Be Activated On EA Origin
It has been discovered that Steam game keys can now be activated on Origin, EA’s digital distribution platform the Steam alternative for EA games. PC Gamer has discovered the activation of Steam keys is possible and has tested it on a number of games which had been originally bought on Steam.
These include: Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect 2, Dead Space 2, Alice: Madness Returns and Dragon Age 2 but more EA games are expected to allow a similar process.
The Origin store allows users to browse and purchase games from Electronic Arts’ catalogs. Instead of receiving a box, disc, or even CD key, purchased software is immediately attached to the user’s Origin account.
However PC Gamer does note that not all the keys they tried did work correctly, but this tended to be keys for older titles such as Mass Effect and the like.
Google+ Games Arriving Soon. Watch Out Facebook!
Google’s new social networking platform Google+, has only been available in its invitation only form for a number of weeks, but has already clocked up a following of over 20 million users. Now Google is preparing to launch its new Google+ games service which is surely going to worry its main competitor Facebook.
Google has already decided to buck the trend with developers and will take less than a 30 percent commission from developers, rather than the traditional 30 percent commission which has been set by Facebook and Apple.
The new Google+ platform for games developers will provide a new avenue to generate revenue, and one of the big differences between the Google+ games and Facebook games, is that Google+ games will be a “native client,”. Meaning Google will host the games on its own servers, rather than on the developer’s. Allowing the developers to concentrate on game development and coding rather than server management.
To add a little spice to the battle Google has already invested heavily in Facebook’s main games developer Zynga, investing an estimated 100-200 million in the Zynga over the last year or so.
Let the games commence!
